I'm Simon Pears of Pears' Groundwork & Excavations. I began driving excavators of all sizes at 15 years old near my hometown of Hoylandswaine in South Yorkshire, and I have worked as a machine driver for large companies all over the UK. 

Since moving to France in 2007, I have run my terrassement entreprise from Ribérac in the Dordogne. I enjoy the freedom of working directly with clients to make sure their dreams become realities.

        I feel that strongly about two key responsibilities as a businessman

  • Arrive to the job site on time 

  • Leave the job site clean and tidy

 

Beyond these two key points, my business strategy is quite simple

 

  •  Utilize my extensive machine-driving experience to work with clients and bring their visions to fruition

 

I work hard and take great pride in my work. I hope it shows when the job is done.
